Descender

Tim 21 is a companion robot for a young boy named Andy who lives with his mother in a small mining colony. At the same time the colony faces a dangerous gas leak in the middle of the night, giant robotic bodies, later referred to the Harvesters, surround nine of the most important planets in their planetary system, unleashing attacks that kill millions. Tim 21 is ripped away from his family without knowing it, because he was never manually awoken when they fled the colony, and wakes up ten years later alone on the deserted planet. But while he was gone, robots from around the planetary system are killed and destroyed out of fear from the Harvester attacks.

Soon after he wakes up, Tim 21’s connection to the Harvesters throws him into a dangerous and unsure future. What can he do to help prevent another attack from the Harvesters? Why is he related to them?

In a world where people hate, kill, and abuse robots, Tim 21 must survive, find his loved ones, save planets from annihilation, and find his new place in the world – either with the races who hate him, or a robot resistance on the brink of war.
