Writer's Notebook

This specific entry was very fun to write for me. I loved using the title to reflect not only the shape of the lines, but the focus of the piece itself. Allowing students to play around with how they write, and letting the visual shapes or limits they create for themselves drive their writing could make very interesting, fun pieces! I think it makes students think of what their writing could look like as well as it will mean for them, and it challenges them to not only come up with different visual representations, but also different ways to make the writing fit that specific visual style.
